Pros: Ultra light frame makes up for less than excellent components, extremely nimble, no excess, quick pickup, ultra fatty fork is proven for fast cross country, best manual lock-out on the market.
Cons: Cannondale sort of skimped on the components. Nothing impressive. Lots of "Coda Expert" parts. Limited colors available.
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: This is a great bike for people who want a fast competitive hardtail but can't drop $3000.00 on a bike. Caad 5 disc specific frame is a huge improvement over the Caad 4 and is the same frame as the F3000. Don't be scared of the Coda disc brakes, the closed system is more than capable for what the bike is designed for and even a little lite downhill.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
