so far held together through everything I could throw at it plus a 5 foot drop
Cons:
will eventually break at the wrong time
Time Used:
1 Year
Comments:

Pros:
Great frame and fork, strong, lite and solid.
Cons:
Bontrager is SHI* and thats being very very kind. I replaced BB with 03' XT bb and crank, had my own wheels (stock wheels are crap) put on XTR V Brakes and she rides like a dream.
Time Used:
3 Months
Comments:
The frame and fork rock. The BB, crank and wheels NEED to be replaced (trade em in for credit at your bike shop) the stem, bars and seatpost are ok burn em up. If GF didnt use Bontrager crap then it would get 5 stars.

This bike is a great ride, but if you realy use it the "compromized" spec will bite you.
First (after three rides) the bb (un-52)died, then after six months the rear hub's driveside bearing disintegrated.
Both was fixed by my lbs. Wheels also flex a lot, brakerub is driving me mad!!
Just buy the frame and fork if you can.
