Pros: I think the Shimano discbrakes has a really nice feel and is working good. With my kind of riding maybe the bigger disc would be a good thing tough.
Cons: My bikecolour is dogshitbrown(!), but I'm getting used to it. The racefacecranks is beginning to get a little bit squeeky
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: I have raced downhill for som time but I have never owned a hardtail this hardcore. I have upgraded to a doublecrowned fork(RS XLC) to make it more agressive and it was well wort it I think. I have also put a MRP-type of chainguide on the bike.(who need gears?) I have used it for alot of dirtjumping and I'm very pleased with it's performance. The best hardtail I've owned before is a GT Zaskar, but i'm much more excited with this one.

Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: great frame design, good weight for how strong frame is, really nice tires...
Cons: i haven't had any problems yet, a guy i know went through about 3 sets of cranks on his roast though.... only 4 in of travel bottoms out really quickly
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: great bike, i havent found any hard tail in this price range that i would rather have.... i also upgraded to hayes hydrualic, that made things a lot better.

Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
