Pros: Frame is the Bomb! OEM seat, pedals long since replaced from OEM plastic. Rear pads twice or more, cable, rear rim and tires all replaced, but i expected to replace/upgrade anyway.
Cons: The crank is starting to play and make noise. This might be the death of it.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: For the $ this bike has met my expectations. But really, the crank too? Krikey.

Pros: Good road / partial dirt road bike, good for price
Cons: The rear axle broke, wheel rubbing frame but suprsingly fixed for free. Not a extreme bike just for average conditions the odd dirtpath but manily for road . Seat a bit hard but that can be upgraded.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: It was only designed for road if you read the specs. So Even though the axle broke i would say it is fair because i ride my bike like nuts. So good value priced bike. I recommend putting the rear disc brake system on it too. But it will cost around 100 dollars which is a bit exspensive but may help with braking feel

Pros: Easy to pedal
Cons: Fragile axle
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: Bought this bike for riding to work - 7km each way, all on sealed roads. Was quite happy with it until I started to pedal through an intersection and the rear wheel was rubbing on the frame. Somehow, riding only on roads, the rear axle managed to bend - shop refused to fix under warranty, apparently Norco don''t cover it. Hate to think how long this bike would last if I ever took it off road.

Pros: Cheap price, if you only need this to get from A to B then go for it
Cons: Good if all yer riding is the sidewalk and a park in the middle of the city, but go on a trail and it wont last 5 minutes

Pros: Aluminium construction, disk brakes, good price
Cons: I hate the seat! Too uncomfortable.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Got this 07 Mountaineer recently for local trail/road cycling. I like how it is lighter than my wife's Trek 820. for 07, it comes with disk brake. the rear derailleur isn't that great but once you get the hang of it, it shifts very well. don't like the seat. will replace it for something more comfortable. it's leagues ahead from my old Raleigh Mtb!
