This is 04 anniversary Stump, xtr everywhere, luv the shifters, light weight 26.? w pedals. size lrg, light weight climbing machine, w ability to downhill at speed, great xc bike, comfortable machine, unlike epic.
Cons:
26.5 lbs is a little heavy, I like my v-brakes, though disc slow you down quicker, disc are for people that need to slow down. only real con, loose some weight, maybe I should loose 5lbs. and save some coin... then my total ride weight is under 195lbs.

I like to save money, i bought this bike used, actually i practically stole it,less than 25% of original msrp. At 43y-old,& kids in college, this bike is not supposed to be that great, at least 07 standards, when dudes on a $4k bike, he better be way up there, if dude sees me on his tail w-this 04' stump, maybe he should spend less money, and buy some saddle time. Hardware isn't everything. For the money, this is a 10 Star

Pros:
This bike is ready to rock and roll as is! No upgrades necessary. Very light for FSR and super quick steering make this baby race ready. Fox RLC 100 front and Fox Float Triad rear are fully adjustable, switch on the fly and awesome. XTR / XT components come standard also and I'm loving the XTR brake/shift levers.
Cons:
Nothing...great bike.

I wanted a bike that I could grow into and this is perfect. There's nothing I need to change or upgrade as my skills increase. It's fast, easy to ride, and loves the trails.

For an all around cross country bike this has it all. Great hill climber! You can do some small jumps with it but I would save the serious jumping for another bike. This bike definatly has it all & looks real cool too.
