Marzocchi 2003 Z1 FR SL
Number of Reviews:   1
Average Rating:

A new lighter weight option for freeride environments that combines the stout rigidity of the redesigned Z1 with Marzocchi's Doppio Air spring system, featuring adjustable independant positive and negative air springs. The 32mm stanchions, new Magnesium Monolite 1-piece arch/slider assembly, and redesigned Forged Cryofit "M"-style FR crown.

Pros: Stout and stiff, yet fairly light for a 32mm stantion fork. Infinite set-up with this air shock! Cool looking also!
Cons: A little heavy! You get over that real fast though as your're blasting down the trail. Negative air pressure is a pain to get right. (see below)
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: Have your pos. air already in, then lock down shock with the ECC. Inflate neg. air to about 50psi less than you normally want. When you release the ECC the neg. air will go up 50 or so psi as fork lengthens and the neg. air chamber gets smaller. Leave the pump on a few times when the ECC is released to see the increase in the neg. air.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
