Rear tyre started to blister (pressurised air pockets formed between casing and tread) within 1 month of using them. This made the tyre too dangerous to use, so I had to replace it.

Pros:
Fast, 1.0" is really fast!
Cons:
Cost, ~$24 (fits 26" mtn bikes). Cheap road tires (700) are <$20 on sale.
Time Used:
1 Year
Comments:
Really great for commuting. Lasts forever on the front (well over 2,000 miles). Lasts about 800 miles on rear (I weigh ~200lbs). I run them till they blister. Easily the fastest tire for a mountain bike. Expect performance similar to road tires. Check your rim, make sure it is less than the width of the tire (<1"), most rims are not.

not a great commuter if your roads are as bad as ours
