Pros: Electrolyte replacement, cost, taste
Cons: Hard to find
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I used to cramp and a friend suggested I try e-Gel because they have lots more electrolytes than any of the other gels. It worked great for me, no more cramping, and the taste is great - Mountain Rush and Vanilla Strawberry my favorites.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: This gel is not thick which would make it easy to get down if it tasted better.
Cons: The taste is absolutely awful.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I gave this gel a try to see if it would be a good fit for me but it definately is not. The taste is awful and upsets my stomach which is not what I look for when I am going for a long run.
Rating: 2
Recommendation: No I would not recommend it to a friend

Pros: Thinner consistancy (easy to get down), great flavors, complete electrolyte replacement
Cons: Not in my local bike shop yet - I buy it on-line at http://www.cranksports.com
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: I used to cramp up on long rides, but since a friend turned me on to e-Gel I haven't had the problem. The e-Gel has something like 5 times more electrolytes than GU (what I used to use) and all the rest.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
