Forged arms keep it light, the FVA design reduces boss movement and ensures more energy reaches the rim

Pros: weight, performance, price, ease of set up/adjustability
Cons: rim wrangler pads had to go. Upgrade to Kool Stop salmon pads, and your SD7 experience willl be much better.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I had these on my Giant Trance, and put on the BB7 discs. I wanted to see how the SD 7's stacked up after three months of disc brake use. I rode Saratoga Gap in the SF Bay Area today, and Arastradero Preserve yesterday. They held up well, and to be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between the two other than needing to ease into the brakes a little more, they seemed on par. I'd recommend them to anyone who races XC who wants to save a little weight and not spend money on disc brakes.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
