Shimano PD M-536 Clipless Mountain Pedals
Number of Reviews:   1
Average Rating:

A fantastic all-purpose pedal. The 536 is sleek enough to provide positive engagement for heavily lugged shoes, yet provides a beefier platform than traditional clipless pedals.

Pros: Easy clip-in and out, provides a decent platform to pedal on when you can''t clip in. Sheds mud reasonably well (but not as good as ATACs or Eggbeaters).
Cons: Bolts holding pedal together tend to fall out, I lost two. Weight, these are heavy pedals.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: A great starter pedal, especially when teamed with the SH55 multi-release cleat. Be sure to Loctite the pedal bolts before you lose them. I think this pedal has now been superceded by the 520, another good design.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: No I would not recommend it to a friend
