The Fire XC Pro was designed as a tire that would offer excellent traction, and cornering in just about any terrain without the penalty of high rolling resistance or soft tread compounds.680g

Pros: great bite slow wearing time and you can run them on low psi without pinching your tube
Cons: slide out on pavement in a corner one second your bikes there another it''s not and your sliding through the intersection
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: i used it for 2 years just wasn''t an option the tires sling mud like crazy so your keep your traction and lead the pack so your spray everyone

Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: Excellent all round grip. Light. Reasonable rolling resistance. Versatile. Value for money.
Cons: None.... and a great price.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: A recommendable do-it-all tire that is light and wont break the bank. It lasts well and keeps good grip even as it wears down. Is versatile enough to operate well summer and winter.....and gives confidence. Rolling resistance is O.K too.

Pros: Great traction in wooded single track, hard pack and rocky terrain. Haven't had a puncture yet.
Cons: None. Been riding awhile and can't find any.
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: Had Kenda K-Rads which had many punctures in same trails ridden with these tires. Very tough, would buy another set.

Pros: Light weight, smooth ride on pavement, excellent grip on drypack, loose gravel, grass and woodchips.
Cons: Colour of sidewall. I would like an all black tire
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I don't know why the weight is listed as 640 grams for this tire, but I picked up the Panaracer fire xc pro 2.1 with kevlar bead and they weigh 580grams each on my gram scale. You definatly notice the weight difference, and also the bite these tires have in the dirt. My previous tires were Specialized enduro 2.3 and the panaracers definatly have more bite in the dirt and drypack. Get this tire, you will not be disappointed. I recommend it to all my biking buddies.
