Pros: If you like to sit UP , this would be the bike for you . The crankset , seat tube and handlebars are several inches higher than most bikes . I liked the feel because some of the FSR bottomed out on landings and humps . One thing I hate is having to worry about my pedals dragging the ground ! But not with the XTC NRS pro series ! A tad top heavy but worth the added pedal power even on turns !
Cons: Just a tad top heavy , but nothing to worry much about .
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: When this bike came out it was the big daddy of Mt Bikes . Now simular set up bikes are $4000.00--$6500.00 but you can still find these in nice rebuildable shape for $400.00-$500.00 or 600.00--700.00 in original setup .I really like this bike !

Pros: Very light and still takes big hits for a cross country bike. Great climber, descender, cornering.
Cons: i did take a huge hit and i dented the frame but the bike said that since it was a sturdy frame it would be fine. When i dented the frame i was doing something way beyond the limits of a cross country bike.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: highly recomended as a bike to start riding on because it is so versatile that you can experiment to see what kind of riding you want to do. i have even gone down a double black diamond pro downhill track at northstar and the bike worked much better than i expected.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
