Pros: Good all round package for the money. Super strong frame and long travel forks combine to make a big hitting XC bike good at ups and absolutely cracking coming back down. Seat's comfy too as a plus.
Cons: Crappy pedals supplied as standard. Lack of adjustability on the Splice Comp forks (preload only).
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: Mines now got XT/LX drivechain with hollowtech 2 LX crankset and Marzocchi MX comp 120mm ETA forks to enhance the climbing ability and bikes handling. I can't think of anything else I could do to make it a better bike. It's not a big time freeride or all mountain bike but it certainly takes the punishment I hand out to it and keeps coming back for more and most of all, it brings a big smile to my face when I get out on it.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
