Pros: Stealth Sticky Rubber... As close to being clipped in while not being clipped in.
Cons: Nothing, having been a climber for years I know Five Ten quality and the advantages of sticky rubber, you'd be a moron to think Etnies, vans or whatever other non stealth rubber shoe is even in the same league... its like comparing a Walmart F/S bike to a Specialized Demo... I mean, they're both bikes right? :)
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: Nothing else even compares. For Free Ride, Downhill or just playin around, if you have platform pedals no other shoe has the grip of the Impact. The idea is simple... they have been the #1 rock climbing show manufacturer for years and stealth rubber is well known for its HIGH friction properties in that sport... They have now slappe dit on a athletic shoe and you have the Impact. Word of warning... they do take a bit of getting use dto as you actualy have to lift your foot to reposition it... they have that much grip. A bit hard to find at the LBS, but you can get them online pretty easy.

Pros: Comfortable just like sneakers so you can wear them all day. Sticky rubber.
Cons: None that I can see.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I bought a pair of these to use on my Norco hardtail with DMR V12 pedals...I was about to give up on riding all together because I had no confidence at all. The sneakers I was wearing were like a mad womans breakfast...all over the place. As soon as I put the High Impacts on it was like a new bike, no more feet lifting off the pedals over jumps or rough fast trails. These shoes rock, go and get some now :)
