Sick color! Awsome handling considering it's size. Significantly better climbing. Top tube extended for a better reach for us tall dudes. Tail pinched like most GF's for better downhill position. Tires absorb more shock too..
Cons:
Travel on the fork is a little short.80mm. Would have liked to see 100-120. Bumps and terrain more sensitive in the saddle. The brakes squeal like a pig unless finely adjusted, or if it rains theres nothing to be done. Doesn't fit to well in other vehicles except a truck bed. Hauling it up three flights of stairs not so easy.

Overall I love this bike. Its cool as shit to ride. It's color, royal blue and white is pimp. Turns heads and stands out among the rest. Even for a hardtail it gains alot of respect with the full supsension guys. I was told it gives you the advantages of a FullS without the price and maintaince.

I went to the LBS with my brand new Mongoose Blackcomb to pick some adjustment parts. They were very nice, but quick to point out that at 6'2" I would never be happy. Well, I wasn't, but height had nothing to do with it.
At my wife's urging I went and picked up the Cobia. I love it and can't ride enough. Cornering speed is so much faster. I'm way out of shape so momentum is everything to me. I'm now able to keep up with my svelt friend that I couldn't come close before (he's still on a Blackcomb).
Hardtail shmardtail. Yes I feel stuff more than the full suspension, but when you're that much faster, and having that much more fun, it really doesn't matter.
