Pros: Great bike for the price. Climbs just like a Gary Fisher should. Love the riding position and frame geometry. Love the way it handles.
Cons: I wish it would shift smoother. Has kind of a clunky transmission. Just a little dirt in the components and the chain''ll skip on you quite a bit.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: I''m new to the sport so take my comments with a grain of salt. I bought mine used off of craigs list for $180.00. It was pretty beat up but after an $80.00 tune up and rim truing it worked very well. Mine came with after market rims and tires that kept me glued to the trail even in the loose sand of the Arizona desert. I''ve really enjoyed this bike. My wife rides a Wahoo and it feels a bit heavy compared to my Opie. Dont know why this bike got such bad reviews but then again I am a relative newb and stick mostly to the beginner and intermediate flowing single track and tend to shy away from jumping off of high rock faces. All in all this bike has worked great for me.

Pros: its ok for riding around
Cons: it sucks nuts my shocks suck and broke bottom bracket off a small drop im a little bit pissed off about it because the bike cost me 500 and is only worth three hundred at the most. and the dam thing came with plastic pedals thati broke in the first day riding off a curb piece of crap

Comments: dont ever buy this bike its not worth it and theres really no warranty on any of it if there was a zero rating this piece bike would get it the only reason i would recommend this bike to somebody is if they were buying it off me so i wouldnt have to ride it anymore. gayest bike ever except for walmart
