Pros: Haro V4 I have used my for two year since June o6. It has been worth my money it have taken it to different types of trails and beaches along with road riding as well. It is very durable and nice looking.
Cons: If you ride with your original tires 2.10 on for long riding periods can cause one to get tried. I changed my tries to 1.75 now it rides even smoother on roads and trails
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: It is all around a great bike adding lights to it and extra gear for long rides and you will have fun in any terrain riding your Haro v4 worth the money.

Pros: Great bike for the money. The components on this bike are great for a beginner because it will take a lot of wear and tear and keep on rolling.
Cons: I can't honestly find one, for its intended purpose this bike just rocks.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: If you're a beginner looking to get into mountain biking this is the bike for you. Its nimble, fast, and forgiving. Take it to the bike shop every once in a while for a tune up and it'll last for a long time. I gave it a 3 because its simply a bike for beginners and doesn't have much upgrade value. You could put new stuff on it, but the cost is too high for little pay out.

Pros: Built to take punishment. Tons of bike for the money.
Cons: None found yet.
Time Used: Just Once
Comments: This bike is so much fun to ride. My old bike was pretty heavy, and this was a serious improvement in the area. The only bike that I could find around 500 dollars that has the Shimano XT shifting system.

Pros: Excellent front suspension with plenty of travel, strong and sturdy double butted frame, nice shimano components, stock tires get excellent traction
Cons: not as popular as Specialized, no technical disadvantages whatsoever
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I go mountain biking once a week or more and beat the crap out of all my bikes. this one has held up better than any and all of it's features remain like new. it's great on downhill as well as uphill and i have jumped large distances on it without being shaken up too much
