Pros: tough bike, dependable, not too heavy, all around good bike
Cons: ass will hurt on long rides!
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Got this bike(2003 model) from some kid who threw it away, got new tires, shifters, cables, grips and cog, beat the hell out of it on trails- then took it on a 60-70mile ride to the beach..GREAT BIKE!!!

Pros: tough bike, strong frame, decent components
Cons: havier than pricier models, plastic pedals
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: Used it for biking through the trais several times a week for last six months or so. My previous bike gave-in in less than a month. This one keeps going even after heavy use and minimal maintenance. Got a lot out of this bike for the price I paid. I got a cushoned saddle and plan to change the pedals. Other than that, did not do any modifications.

Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
