Came stock on my '07 Response Sport. This is my first suspension fork experience , so I'm not sure, but I ride in the snow ALOT, and it seems to work fairly well. I just found out today about the lockout, so will experiment with that tomorrow! If it comes stock it's not bad, but I am already looking for a replacement upgrade.

Pros:
Smoooooth! Pre-load adjustments actualy work! Lock out a charm on inclines. Doesnt wonder ( probaly cause its on the heavy side). Great control on decends. Affordable. Awesome shock absorbing ability. 120mm trvel
Cons:
Chucks out oil like an old truck! Heavy, put an extra 2 lbs on my giant boulder, but because its heavy you dont wonder on steep climbs and you decend at the speed of light!
Time Used:
Less Than A Month

Woah! What can I say? I swopped my old rusty stock fork that came on my giant boulder for this one and its sooo Shweet! Its got a wide range of pre-load adjustments which is great if you race a different variety of stuff. In the first week that I got it I did a 35km race that was real challenging and this fork handled hectic decends to 60 degree climbs to sizey ramps and came out true and honest. When I drive on the tar I just turn and lock and Im styling with an all rigid bike! The oil that comes out on the stantions is a bit too much for my liking but this adds to the rust prevention, so they cancel each other out. If your a lightweight freak then dont buy it cause its quite heavy, but if you want a smooth, reliable, strong fork then i would highly recomend it.
