Pros: extremely durable (you could chuck this thing off a cliff and ride away with it), good price, come with hayes sole and sram S.4 and S.5 components, sr suntour duro forks, kenda tires, and a truvativ howitzer crank.
Cons: the bottom bracket started acting up after about 6 months of riding and had to be replaced, the GT platform pedals have absolutely no grip at all and are extremely heavy, the front derailleur trigger busted but i think it was my own doing, and the whole bike is pretty heavy.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: if you are an average mountain biker thats not planning on doing any very serious riding and don't mind spending an extra $100 within the first year of owning it, this bike is amazing. it has a solid feel, good rider position, and once you fix the kinks, it should satisfy you for at least a few years.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
