24 Hours of Adrenalin NORBA National Solo & Team Championships

Trilife Sports International and the National Off-Road Bicycle Association (NORBA) announces the 3rd Solo and Team 24 Hours of Adrenalin NORBA National Championships, to be held at the picturesque location of Laguna Seca Recreation Area, in Monterey, California, on May 18/19, 2002.

The 24 Hours of Adrenalin NORBA National Championships starts at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th, and runs straight for 24 hours until 12 p.m. Sunday, May 19th. The goal is for solo riders and teams to complete as many laps as possible within the 24 hour time period. For the 24 Hours of Adrenalin NORBA National Championship, categories include; Solo, 4 Person Masters, 4 Person Open Male, 4 Person Open Female and 6 Person Junior.

The 24 Hours of Adrenalin NORBA National Championships will be attracting some big names this year, as 2001 saw some great competition arise. Defending champions include soloists Tinker Juarez (Volco/Cannondale), Cristina Begy, 4 person teams King of the Rockies and Beaver Creek/Christy Sports, and 6 person junior team Specialized Junior Factory Team. Watch some of the best endurance riders in the US compete for the jerseys and covenant title of 24 Hours of Adrenalin NORBA National Champion.

NORBA is a member association of USA Cycling, the national governing body for the sport, and is the largest mountain bike racing organization in the United States. For up-to-date information on NORBA, visit usacycling.org/mtb.

24 Hours of Adrenalin is a mountain bike relay event where teams of up to 10 people, or solo riders, race around the clock to complete as many laps as possible in a 24 hour time frame. Team categories have been designed to accommodate all skill levels. The festival aspect of 24 Hours of Adrenalin is a weekend of fun, and has been dubbed the "Woodstock of Mountain Biking."
