Trail Description:
The Canmore Nordic Centre features a huge network of cross country ski trails from the Olympics a few years back. During the summer, they make excellent mountain bike trails.

The trails range from wide and smooth to steep, technical sick tests of skill. Either way you are sure to find trails you absolutely love and no matter where you go you will be treated with unmatched scenery.

This is the site of one of the premier World Cup cross country mountain bike events.

Check in at the main lodge and get a map. You can also rent bike here if needed.

How to get there:
From Calgary take the Trans Canada Hwy 1 West about 75km to Canmore. From the highway you'll see signs for the Nordic Centre as you aproach Canmore. You can follow them all the way through town and up to the parking lot.

Additional Notes:
A bear bell would be a good idea as this area is prime bear country.
