This ride is easily accessible. It follows a lightly traveled jeep road to a large mine ruin on a high point with commanding views.

How to get there:
From Denver, follow I-70 west for 65 miles to the Frisco exit. Follow Highway 9 for ten miles to Breckenridge. From Main Street and Ski Hill Road, drive south on Main to the end of town and turn left on Boreas Pass Road. At the top of the first big climb -- by the Breckenridge Athletic Club -- turn left and uphill on Baldy Road. Drive one mile until you intersect Road 2651. Park here off the road.
