The trail starts out in the parking lot, if you take the gravel road up to the picnic area, the road curves to the right then drop slightly down hill. Here the road forks if you go sraight it will take you on a short but steep downhill then to the right and back to the parking lot. If you go left at the fork it will ascend the hill and then split three ways: right dead end straight will lead you to single track, left will lead you further up the road, then taking the next left and going straight it will take you to single track. Once on the single track it winds in and out of trees, rolling hills, low branches. There is a network of trails it this forested area. All the roads and single track intertwine so it's best to mix it up and go different ways each time.
