Trail Description:
This trail is great if you are a beginner because it gives you a chance to get use to spinning those pedals. Nothing here is very technical and this is an extremely fast ride because of the rolling terrain and lack of any serious climbs. This is also a great trail for the experienced rider to work on braking into and powering out of turns because there are a lot of them and some come up really fast. This a great ride for a group because you can really push each other to maximum speeds.
How to get there:
Take 71 west from Austin to county road 413. Take a right on 413 and follow the road until you see a sign that says Windsor, take a left and the road dead ends into the Muleshoe Bend state park. Pay $5.00, park on your left and the trail starts by the parking lot with a sign that shows the trail direction (one way).
