Trail Description:
This road is the Old Hwy 1 coast road. It starts at the Bixby Creek Bridge and comes out just north of the Big Sur area. Its a dirt road with washboard and a beautiful ride into the mountains. The road has two long uphill climbs and two fast downhills. The only downfall to the ride is that you have to ride the paved road back to your car to complete the loop or you have to ride the dirt road the other way.

How to get there:
Take Hwy 1 South from Carmel. Drive until you come to the Bixby Creek Bridge. The bridge is located between Carmel and Big Sur. Once at the bridge, you will see a dirt road on the northeast side of the bridge. That's where the beginning of the ride is. Turn onto the dirt road, park and begin your ride.
