Trail Description:
These trails interwind through redwood forests with many technical single track trails to choose from. Some offer very technical single track with fallen trees to bunny hop and small mud pudles to plow through or jump. There is very light traffic on theses trails. There is a killer woopty doo section where you can catch big air if you like. fire trails are endless with singletracks crossing everywhere.
In wet weather, the trails can get slick. Its not muddy, just slick because of the clay, but during the summer, the trails are ripe for fast speeds.
How to get there:
Take 101 north past Eureka and past Humboldt State University to the city of Mckinleyville. Take the main street exit and drive on it for about 5 miles and turn right on Dows Prairie Rd.
