Trail Description:
Mowed trail along the Big Sioux River and around and through the town of Akron. Trails total lenght approx. 9 miles. Part of trail system run on city streets.
How to get there:
Akron is located in Plymouth Co. on the South Dakota border about 28 miles northwest of Sioux City on Hwy 12, 21 miles west of LeMars on Hwy 3, 12 miles east of the Akron exit on Intersate 29.

Free camping in city parks. Spring flooding may force closing of some of the trails
