Trail Description:
this race loop has very steep short lived climbs that will make you feel like your heart will want to explode.Sport loop is six miles and expert loop is 8 miles with a down hill course attached.Great views of the lake.Freeriders who like to climb will love this course.No shuttles here.

How to get there:
30 miles north of Los Angeles off the I-5. Get off at Lake Hughes exit, head east towards Castaic Lake.Turn left at the Old road and you will be at the parks entrance.You can park outside the the park on Lake Hughes Rd. and it will save you a parking fee of $6.00.Ride your bike through the main gate down the main road for aprox.1 mile and look for a big water tank on the left and thats where the trail begins.
