Trail Description:
These trails are the best in central new york if not the world. On the sky top side you have simple roads and dirt trails for the first time bikers. When you drop into the quary and ride the ridge trial you have it all. These trails are for above average riders. Stunts, Steeps, single track, small and medium rock drops (2 to 15 ft, technical puzzles as well as fast downhills. Then there is the legendary Meat DH, Meat DH II and Little DH which drop off the cliff into no man's land. (Goat freindly trails, suspension a good idea)

Back by the entrance you have a some big dirt bike jumps. Around the lime loop take a right up into the trail with the blue tarp. Flat, technical, rocky single track awaits. Good practice rock drops for the beginning freerider. Hidden off to the right are some menacing, steep, loose, slate switchbacks that will raise the hair on your neck. A guy lost his head falling on one of these switch backs.

Across 481 are many trails (12 miles) for the XC rider. Good up the big hill. At the top of the hill,(you will stop) go right to the power line trails (long steep hills and bobsled chutes), and brighton Tower hill or go left to the Clrk loop. Go through the hole, make a left, follow the trail. Stay to the left the most of the time. Go fast. Be nice to hikers. When you leave Clrk go left. Ride the fire road. Leave the fire road and make a left. Right on the main road. left into Ruston dinner. Take the trail at the top of the Ruston Dinner back to sky top.

How to get there:
Go into the SkyTop Complex from Colvin Street. Once at the top of the hill, just after the last building on the left, you'll see a parking lot that appears to have no meaning ( It doesn't connect to any building). Near the back of the parking lot and to the left is the entrace to all the trails. (It's marked by a bunch of rocks right in the middle of the trail)

Additional Notes:
Wear a Helmet!
