Trail Description:
The trail is absolute pure fun. It is a 100% single-track rocky meandering picturesque trail that will lead you to beautiful untouched nature. Part of the trail runs along a stunning wild lake. Before you know it, you will end up out in the wild, miles from any civilization. Intermediate skills are required; this is not a beginner trail!
How to get there:
Coming from Halifax, drive along Saint Margaret's bay road outbound. Pass the exit to Peggy’s cove and continue until you see an Ultramar gas station. Park at that Ultramar. From the Ultramar, continue biking along Saint Margaret's bay road outbound for about 2-3 km. You will soon see on your left a beginner "Rail to trail" well maintained trail. Continue along that trail which follows Saint Margaret's bay road (still outbound). The trail will eventually pass under a highway overpass (highway 103). Immediately after that overpass, you will see the wild lake mentioned above. Jean’s Trail begins right after your pass the lake (it is on your left). Be careful, the entrance to the trail is difficult to see!
