Very good trail for beginners/intermediate riders on up. The first few miles are mostly downhill till it reaches Laurel Lake, then it kinda levels off. There are a lot of switchbacks going in and around points on the lake. There are a few minor climbs here and there but nothing bad. It's 8 miles to Holly Bay Marina from the Bald Rock Rec Area, and another 4 miles from the Marina to the Dam. It's about 12 miles from the Bald Rock Rec Area to the Corbin City Dam total. Once you reach the dam, turn right on the road and ride back to the trailhead the same way you drove from there. Or you can always double back the trail for a real challenge.
How to get there:
Go past the Corbin City Dam coming from Corbin, turn right at the stop sign(if you turn left you'll only go about a mile till you reach the backside of the dam:) go all the way to the end of that road and turn right, go roughly 2 miles to the Bald Rock Rec. Area, the trailhead is on the right just around a curve along with a gravel parking area.
