Trail Description:
This trail runs the length of the Black Hills. It cuts thru remote high country. It has sections that are very technical, and others that are wide open downhill joyrides. Most of the 12 trailheads are located at lakes or near streams, meaning you usually get a good 2-5 mile climb followed by 2-5 mile downhill to the next trailhead. The trail markers are sometimes hard to find and I have spent a lot of time lost up there so bring a few good maps.

How to get there:
With 12 trailheads you can access this trail from many differant locations.Rapid City is located towards the middle and makes a great home base.

Additional Notes:
The boys at ACME Bikes in Rapid City are the ones to talk to for info.
