Trail Description:
The trail is a series of loops consisting of singletrack, doubletrack, and fire roads. It is marked with orange tags which lead away from the lake, yellow tags which lead toward the lake, and blue tags which connect the two.

Although fairly new and not yet hardened by riders, the trail is very well marked and well maintained. The early part of the trail is flat and a good ride for beginners. As it progresses into the woods, it becomes more hilly and a fun ride for the intermediate. In either case, its a good workout.

How to get there:
Take highway 15 south from Ackerman and go about 3 miles. Turn left after passing the ranger station onto a road marked "Choctaw lake" or "Tombigbee National Forest." Follow this road until you cross a dam and reach a parking lot. The trailhead is on the left across the road.
