Trail Description:
Site of the Loop #4 section of the annual Multiple Sclerosis Mountain Bike ride and Part of the '95 BBTC Poker Ride. This area climbs up to Lake Marie and the surrounding are. There is really only two good wasy up the hill and only one good way up off the Snoqualmie valley trail. However, once up. there are several good variations for going down. Some more challenging than others! Will all the trail in the area and a loop up around by Lake marie. you can put an easy 2+ hours out here without repeating. Remember, this is Weyerhauser land and please respect their wishes in order to retain the priviledge of riding here.
How to get there:
Head east on I-90 to the Preston-Fall City Exit. Turn left, over the hwy and then right, towards Fall City. Once in town, turn right on 202 and over the bridge and veer right on 203 towards Snoqualmie Falls. After about 2 miles, you will come to 356th. Turn left and head up the hill to the trailhead parking on the Snoqualmie Valley trail. To access the area, head East on the RR grade for about a mile or so until you come to a well used trail on your left. If you ride under the powerlines, you have gone too far. The trail to your left will take you on a gradual climb up to the powerline road. There are several trails in that flat, lower area and more above, to the North.
