Trail Description:
A good trail for those living in west ABQ, but probably not worth the drive if you live across town.

Mostly consists of flat and rolling hills, but with a few moderate uphills and downhills complicated by lots of loose, jagged rock. Some of these hills are avoidable if you take a down and back route.

How to get there:
Take I-40 west out of Albuquerque. Exit on Paseo de Volcan and turn right. The trailhead will be a few miles down on the right. Be sure to park outside the front gate if you're staying after 5 PM.

I also suspect this trail is accessable from Unser drive near the model aviation park, but I haven't tried it.

Additional Notes:
Wide open views- makes a nice sunset ride, but don't go here when it's windy.
