Trail Description:
This trail starts out with a killer 1 mile climb that takes you to the top of a mountain offering some killer scenery. You are then rewarded with about 3 miles of ridgeline downhill that takes you down to the river before the trail levels out for some nice rolling terrain along the San Joaqine River. Some people ride in about 7 to 10 miles and turn around but if you're up for it this trail will take you all the way to Squaw Leap Campground where your shuttle car can take you home.

How to get there:
From Fresno, take 41 N to Friant Rd. Head East on Friant for about 15 minutes until you see the golf course and casino. Turn left onto Sky Harbor Dr. (right before the casino) and follow it all the way until it dead ends (about 5 miles). Park in the dead end and ride your bike to the right towards the picnic area. You should see a green gate on a trail going uphill. Go throgh the green gate and get to climbing. At the top of the hill the trail T's. A left will take you down a 'killer' downhill back to the parking lot and a right takes you down to the river and on the real trail.

Additional Notes:
Some people prefer to start at Squaw Leap and end up at Sky Harbor.
