Trail Description:
Beans Bike Park contains a motocross track and mountain bike trails. Don't worry though... they are not connected at all! There are two areas here (both connected though). First the Cross Country Trail. This trail is awesome! Total singletrack all the way. A few extremely challenging climbs (especially the Pine Hill Climb) with fast downhills! Track is always bending one way or the other and going uphill or downhill. There are some spots with with a couple extra roots, but nothing that isn't manageable. There is a suspension bridge you get to ride over that is a lot of fun. There are a few cut-offs from the main loop which are extremely technical. It has it's fair share of drop offs, rock gardens, and also includes two creek crossings as well. This XC trail has been kept in great condition.
Next the stunt section of the area. This trail area is known as El Pollo Loco or for those of us who don't habla espanol it means The Crazy Chicken. This part was built by guys who go out and ride whistler every year. It includes 5 to 20 foot drop offs, teeter totters, and woop dee doos. This course is only about 1 ft. wide but at times it is 1.5 to 2 feet wide. It also features from 10 to 30 foot gaps. This is only for crazy experts who are experienced.
How to get there:
From Interstate 77 take 39 North to Roswell Church road. Stay on road until you see signs for Beans Bike Park. Then follow them!
Additional Notes:
I would recommend this course to everyone! It is probably one of the best courses in Ohio!
