Mostly ungraded dirt road. Takes almost as long to drive it as it does to ride. This road has been here in some form or another for over 100 years. The souther half is graded just before any cattle trucks need to get in or out, the northern half is never graded.
How to get there:
From Mammoth: park at the renal care center, and ride across the cattle guard behind it, head north.
From Dudleyville: From Dudleyville road, turn West on San Pedro River Road, cross the river, and park out of the way after you cross the cattle guard. Head South. Just follow the river in either direction.
Watch for ATV's, Cattle, Surly old ranchers, illegal traffic of one form or another.
