Dirt and gravel loops wind throughout the area. The trails themselves are not very technically challenging, and are very fast in most areas. Mostly dirt trails with some gravel. However, there are some crazy hills to negotiate on the more "difficult" trails. Traffic is light to medium, but there can be joggers, dog walkers, and horseback riders.
Good for half an afternoon on a weekend. Be prepared to walk the numerous steep hills if you are not in good shape.
How to get there:
Take Highway 16/Yellowhead west out of Edmonton, and turn north onto Rge. Rd. 779 (approx. 20min out). There are easy to follow signs at the overpass and along the rest of the way. You can take either Twp. Rd. 534 or Twp. Rd. 540 to get to the area.
