Trail is singletrack all the way, with three loops totaling 5 miles. You can bail at at two places for a shorter ride, but don't miss the long, straight downhill on the last loop. Lots of short steep hills, fairly technical, not too rooty, a few log obstacles and 4 bridges. Not for true beginners, but you don't need to be an expert. Awesome ride!
How to get there:
From I-64 just west of Williamsburg take exit 234 for Rt. 199 towards Lightfoot/Williamsburg, then exit onto Rt. 60 West, then immediate left onto Centerville Rd. Follow Centerville Rd. for about 4 miles, Freedom Park will be on the right at intersection with Longhill Rd. Follow the park entrance road to the end. Parking, port-a-john and trail maps are at trailhead.
