Trail Description:
South Riverside Trail is the former Rock Island Railroad line. It offers beautiful river views, a trail shelter, and access to Hartman Reserve Nature Center and downtown Cedar Falls. Near Pfeiffer Park is Krieg's Crossing, which allows access to the Cedar Valley Lakes Trail. Krieg's Crossing is a bridge that crosses the Cedar River.

How to get there:
The trailhead is at the intersection of Main Street and West 18th Street. At this trailhead, this trail connects to the Cedar Prairie Trail. The other trailhead is accessible by turning north off of the Greenhill Road exit on Highway 218. At this trailhead it connects you to the Trolley Trail and the Greenhill Trail.
