Trail Description:
At the trail head follow the only trail there. After a mile or so(?), of rolling

single track you will come to a brigde. Cross the brigde and climb up the trail turning

right. This part is somewhat technical. After a short mellow climb the trail will (Y).

Go right. From there the trail climbs up around the back side of the mountain

(technical in many spots). After the 2-3 mile climb to the top its time to get your

reward. Fast, fast,fast downhill single track and in some spots dual track. Ignore

trail spurs. Too soon you'll be back to the (Y) down to the brigde and back out to the

trail head.

How to get there:
From freeway 41 or highway 99 in Fresno. Take Herndon East to Willow, go north

on Willow untill you reach Copper, go East on Copper untill you get to Auberry road,

go north (the only way) on Auberry road. Follow the road untill it meets 168 in

Prather. Go north (left) on 168. When you come up to a moble home park turn left,

this will be Auberry road, Follow it through the town of Auberry. The road will (Y)

next to a school. Go left at the (Y). This road will be Powerhouse road. Follow

it untill you see the Squaw Leap sign and entrance on your left. Its about 4 miles

in from the entrance. The trail head will start from the second parking on your right.

The whole trip from Herndon&Willow will take you around 40 to 50 minutes.
