Trail Description:
If you're looking for a trail that offers a little bit of everything from fast, pristine trail, to quick, steep ascents (plus a few longer ones), river crossings, old growth forests, mountain views, solitude, majestic river views, along with the ability to choose various distances, then check this trail out. You will be amazed, and if you're not tired by the end, you haven't ridden hard enough. The trail totals 77 miles--almost entirely singletrack--although the last ten miles or so are located in wilderness areas which means no BIKES ARE ALLOWED.
How to get there:
Roseburg is located 65 miles south of Eugene, on I-5. Take RT 138 east from Roseburg. The trail begins at Swiftwater Park, although you can choose to drive further if so be it.
Additional Notes:
Come prepared with the right gear, for some parts of the trail are far from any sort of help.
