This is a pretty good trail, although this area has more than one, the main one is the Clear Bay Trail. This trail offers mostly just single track, with the occasional tedious uphill, but during the end ( depending on if you go left or right) their are some really good down hill runs with 2 foot drops about every 6 feet. Their are sand pits often, and it cuts in and out of a thick forest sevral times.
How to get there:
on I-35, get off at the Main Street ramp, make a right at 24th street and then follow it down to Highway 9, then make a left turn untill you see the second sign that says "Lake Thunderbird", the trail is right at the begining.
Bring some bug spray. The insects can be pretty fierce.
