The Kilmer Reserve has an extensive system of trails located on the Livingston campus of Rutgers University. Most of these trails consist of singletrack with a surface of hard packed dirt. There are several technical sections along these trails with obstacles such as rocks, roots, and fallen trees. This park also has a lot of steep climbs and descents to challenge experienced mountain bikers.

How to get there:
The Kilmer Reserve is located off of Avenue E on the Livingston campus of Rutgers University. Take Route 287 North or South to River Road Exit. Go West on River Road towards the university or football field. Turn left on Metlars Lane. Turn right at first traffic light. Turn right on Avenue E. It's the first right hand turn you can make. The parking and main entrance is on the right. There are also two other entrances I use on the right as you approach Avenue E across from the parking lots.
