Ride Summary:
This trail is nice yet not too difficult. You'll ride a variety of terrain - dirt road, jeep road, single track and a significant amount of pavement at the end.

Trail Description:
Trail and mileage

3.1 - take left at fork of the jeep roads

4.1 - take left at fork, find Deer Creek trail on left

5.1 - fork, turn left (sign);

5.2 - find singletrack as it turns from jeep trail

13.1 - at intersection of trails, take left

14.2 - singletrack ends on a jeep road, take a right towards the Gothic Road, road left goes through a private property. Stay on road.

14.3 - at Gothic Road intersection, turn left towards Mt. Crested Butte, after 5 miles the road turns to the pavement. Follow the road back towards the Skyland Camp

27.5 - That's it, end of the trail and you're back at the parking lot.

How to get there:
Turn from the Hwy 135 NE 2 miles before the city of Crested Butte towards Skyland Camp. After 0.5 mile turn right on the dirt Brush Creek Road. Park on the parking lot left just before the first crossing of the East River. Start biking on the easy Brush Creek dirt road which soon turns to the jeep road.
