Trail Description:
Blackbird State forest is mostly fire road and dual track trails with very little topography to speak of. Nevertheless, it is a nice ridde for a beginner, and due to the many interconnected trails, the ride can be made as long as you want. There a few equestrians here an there, and during hunting season you'd have to be crazy to get near the place except on Sundays. Nice rides through loblolly pines, oak. Some bottom land, and the trails are a bit more challenging in rain or snow, but this place is really more of a peaceful cruise. There are a few opportunities to practice log climbing.

How to get there:
West off route 13 halfway between Smyrna and Odessa onto Blackbird Forest Road. $ miles and you're there
