Trail Description:
Start climbing on a dirt road with slight grade.

2.7 - find trail #898 on the right;

5.3 - continue on to a private road;

6.8 - follow further on Raggeds Trail #820;

7.3 - cross dirt road and following creek;

10.2 - cross spur trail and keep on Raggeds Trail;

10.3 - at intersection, take a left;

12.5 - find the gate and continue on a jeep road;

14.3 - at the next intersection take a left turn on a dirt road;

16.8 - continue straight on a dirt road through the next intersection;

16.9 - another intersection, take a left turn onto a dirt road;

18.0 - pass through a gate and continue downhill;

20.0 - the trail ends at Erickson Springs. Find the intersection with Hwy 133, a paved road, turn right and continue on pavement until you reach the parking lot.

How to get there:
Off I-70 at Glenwood Springs, take Hwy 82 and head to Carbondale (12 miles). Take Hwy 133, pass Redstone and on to McClure Pass (8,755'), about 9 miles. Find a parking lot on the left side of the road.

Get supplies in Carbondale. Bring a good map and extra water.
