Ride Summary:
Many loops to choose from. Close to Denver & makes for a good after work ride.
Trail Description:
This is an open space park just outside of Denver on the Eastern side. You can tell by the name it used to be an old cattle ranch. Occasionally you'll have to share the trail with a cow or two. Although it's close to town, wildlife can be spotted (deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, etc.). Because the park is so nice and close to the city, expect trail traffic on nice days. Remember to yield to hikers! Don't let the closeness to civilization fool you, the trails here can be technical and tricky. There's a map at the entrance. Take a look and build your own network of trails to ride!
How to get there:
From Denver take Hwy 6 to the intersection of Hwys 53 & 93 after passing Golden, CO. Continue straight on Hwy 93 about 4 more miles. Look for the sign for the White Ranch Park and turn left into the park.
Additional Notes:
Climbing & mileage varies. A great place to ride after school or work!
